Common questions
What are the most auspicious move-in dates in December 2026?

Are there good move-in dates on a weekend in December 2026?
Yes: Sunday, December 20, 2026; Sunday, December 6, 2026; Sunday, December 27, 2026.
Which days in December 2026 should be avoided for moving house?
The almanac lists 入宅/移徙 as inauspicious (忌) on 13 days: Tue Dec 1, Wed Dec 2, Mon Dec 14, Tue Dec 15, Wed Dec 16, Fri Dec 18, Sat Dec 19, Tue Dec 22, Fri Dec 25, Sat Dec 26, Mon Dec 28, Wed Dec 30, and others.
How are these dates chosen?
Each day is checked in the traditional Chinese almanac: it must list 入宅 or 移徙 among the day's favorable activities (宜) and not among its taboos (忌), and it must not be a Break (破) day or a day marked 诸事不宜. Days on the Yellow Path (黄道), with favorable day officers or blessing stars rank higher. A day that clashes (冲) with your own zodiac animal should be skipped.
