Common questions
What are the most auspicious move-in dates in May 2028?

Are there good move-in dates on a weekend in May 2028?
Yes: Saturday, May 13, 2028; Sunday, May 21, 2028.
Which days in May 2028 should be avoided for moving house?
The almanac lists 入宅/移徙 as inauspicious (忌) on 12 days: Mon May 1, Wed May 3, Sat May 6, Sun May 7, Mon May 8, Fri May 12, Tue May 16, Thu May 18, Tue May 23, Thu May 25, Sun May 28, Tue May 30.
How are these dates chosen?
Each day is checked in the traditional Chinese almanac: it must list 入宅 or 移徙 among the day's favorable activities (宜) and not among its taboos (忌), and it must not be a Break (破) day or a day marked 诸事不宜. Days on the Yellow Path (黄道), with favorable day officers or blessing stars rank higher. A day that clashes (冲) with your own zodiac animal should be skipped.
