Are there good move-in dates on a weekend in July 2028?
Yes: Saturday, July 29, 2028; Sunday, July 16, 2028.
Which days in July 2028 should be avoided for moving house?
The almanac lists 入宅/移徙 as inauspicious (忌) on 14 days: Sun Jul 2, Fri Jul 7, Sun Jul 9, Mon Jul 10, Tue Jul 11, Thu Jul 13, Fri Jul 14, Mon Jul 17, Thu Jul 20, Sat Jul 22, Sun Jul 23, Wed Jul 26, and others.
How are these dates chosen?
Each day is checked in the traditional Chinese almanac: it must list 入宅 or 移徙 among the day's favorable activities (宜) and not among its taboos (忌), and it must not be a Break (破) day or a day marked 诸事不宜. Days on the Yellow Path (黄道), with favorable day officers or blessing stars rank higher. A day that clashes (冲) with your own zodiac animal should be skipped.
