Common questions
What are the most auspicious move-in dates in August 2028?

Are there good move-in dates on a weekend in August 2028?
Yes: Saturday, August 12, 2028; Saturday, August 19, 2028.
Which days in August 2028 should be avoided for moving house?
The almanac lists 入宅/移徙 as inauspicious (忌) on 11 days: Tue Aug 1, Tue Aug 8, Wed Aug 9, Fri Aug 11, Sun Aug 13, Mon Aug 14, Wed Aug 16, Thu Aug 17, Sun Aug 20, Fri Aug 25, Mon Aug 28.
How are these dates chosen?
Each day is checked in the traditional Chinese almanac: it must list 入宅 or 移徙 among the day's favorable activities (宜) and not among its taboos (忌), and it must not be a Break (破) day or a day marked 诸事不宜. Days on the Yellow Path (黄道), with favorable day officers or blessing stars rank higher. A day that clashes (冲) with your own zodiac animal should be skipped.
