Common questions
What are the most auspicious move-in dates in September 2028?
According to the Chinese almanac, the best move-in dates in September 2028 are Monday, September 25, 2028; Friday, September 29, 2028; Friday, September 22, 2028.
Are there good move-in dates on a weekend in September 2028?
Yes: Saturday, September 23, 2028.
Which days in September 2028 should be avoided for moving house?
The almanac lists 入宅/移徙 as inauspicious (忌) on 11 days: Fri Sep 1, Thu Sep 7, Fri Sep 8, Tue Sep 12, Wed Sep 13, Thu Sep 14, Fri Sep 15, Thu Sep 21, Sun Sep 24, Tue Sep 26, Sat Sep 30.
How are these dates chosen?
Each day is checked in the traditional Chinese almanac: it must list 入宅 or 移徙 among the day's favorable activities (宜) and not among its taboos (忌), and it must not be a Break (破) day or a day marked 诸事不宜.
